Web Based Voice Communication

Are you looking for an internship in ICT at a university of applied sciences? Start your intership at Rohill Engineering BV. Work with modern technologies (such as WebRTC) for a web-based voice communication platform to replace the current Windows application, Line Dispatch Station.

Dit is de opdracht:
• Stel oVirt in met OVN met behulp van verschillende Linux-gebaseerde VM's.
• Creëer logische netwerken voor verbeterde cyberbeveiliging.
• Experimenteer met SDN-concepten, waaronder isolatie, routing en firewallfuncties.
• Onderzoek netwerkbeheer, monitoring, visualisatie en automatiseringsmogelijkheden.
• Benchmark functies, doorvoer en latentie in vergelijking met externe IP-netwerken.
• Optionele ontwikkeling van tooling ter ondersteuning van netwerkbeheer en monitoring met behulp van API's.
• Adviseer de meest geschikte configuratie voor bedrijfskritische Rohill-oplossingen die op één server draaien.

Je werkt binnen het ontwikkelteam. Werk wordt beheerd via Agile Scrum. Het team bestaat uit 5 ontwikkelaars en 1 testontwikkelaar. Naast het ontwikkelteam sta je in nauw contact met de Product Owner, Product Management, CTO en de verkoopafdeling.

This is the assignment:
• Set Up oVirt with OVN using several Linux based VMs.
• Create Logical Networks for enhanced cyber security.
• Experiment with SDN concepts, including isolation, routing, firewall functions.
• Investigate network control, monitoring, visualisation and automation capabilities.
• Benchmark features, throughput and latency in comparison with external IP networks.
• Optional development of tooling to support network control and monitoring using APIs.
• Advise the most suitable setup for mission-critical Rohill solutions running on a single server.

You will work within the Development team. Work is managed via Agile Scrum. The team has 5 developers and 1 test developer. Beside the development team you will be in close contact with the Product Owner, Product Management, CTO and the sales department.
